Michael Reed is a pastor in the United Methodist Church, and the managing director of the Maker's Place. He is the proud father of a baby in diapers, and lives and works in Trenton, NJ. Michael is passionate about asset-based community development, and the intersection of faith and the common good. He has a MDiv from Princeton Theological Seminary, and MTh from the University of Edinburgh in Biblical Studies. Michael is married to Elena. Together they enjoy watching baseball and reading mystery novels.
Callie Crowder is the Assistant Director with the Maker's Place. Born and raised in Trenton, Callie is passionate about building relationships with people, especially those impacted by the political economy of racism and oppression. Callie is a businesswoman, entrepreneur, and a compassionate leader. She has a MDiv/MACEF from Princeton Theological Seminary, and has worked for over 18 years as a CPA. She lives and works in Trenton, NJ, and is the mother of two young adults.
Community Care Coordinator
Rev. Susan Victor is an ordained Deacon in the United Methodist Church. She is passionate about using her theological expertise and social work training to be a bridge between the church and the world. She is an appointed minister with the Maker's Place, while serving full-time at Womanspace, a not-for-profit agency in Mercer County that serves those impacted by domestic violence and sexual violence. Susan and her husband Vasanth live in the greater Trenton area, and enjoy life as the parents of three adult children.
