Callie Crowder is a Co-Director with a focus on community outreach and diaper bank operations at the Maker's Place. Born and raised in Trenton, Callie is passionate about building relationships with people, especially those impacted by the political economy of racism and oppression. Callie is a businesswoman, entrepreneur, and a compassionate leader. She has a MDiv/MACEF from Princeton Theological Seminary, and has worked for over 18 years as a CPA. She lives and works in Trenton, NJ, and is the mother of two young adults.

Alyssa Ruch is a candidate for Deacon ministry in The United Methodist Church, and a Co-Director of the Maker’s Place with a focus and passion for relational and institutional development. She is passionate about social justice matters and equitable relationships, especially in terms of journeying with and educating individuals and communities. Alyssa is an advocate, entrepreneur, and a compassionate bridge-builder. She has an MDiv from Drew Theological Seminary, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Behavioral Health from Alvernia University. Alyssa is married to Rev. Jesse Ruch. Together with their dog, Kevin, they enjoy exploring and traveling to new places.


Community Care Coordinator


Rev. Susan Victor is an ordained Deacon in the United Methodist Church. She is passionate about using her theological expertise and social work training to be a bridge between the church and the world. She is an appointed minister with the Maker's Place, while serving full-time at Womanspace, a not-for-profit agency in Mercer County that serves those impacted by domestic violence and sexual violence. Susan and her husband Vasanth live in the greater Trenton area, and enjoy life as the parents of three adult children.
